PharmaLEAD Burn Spray is a hydrogel in form of spray containing hyaluronic acid and plant excipients. PharmaLEAD Burn Spray is used for the treatment of minor home surface burns of 1st and 2nd degree and skin after excessive sunbathing. Grade I burns (Combustio erythematosa) are characterized by redness of the burned area and intact epidermis, healing takes several days and is without sequelae. In stage II.a (Superficial Combustio bullosa), the burn site is red and a blister forms, the epidermis and dermis are superficially damaged, with proper treatment it heals completely and without consequences. PharmaLEAD Burn Spray forms an elastic film on the burn site that prevents drying, allows the wound to breathe and is impermeable to moisture and microorganisms from the external environment. The high water content, sodium hyaluronate and excipients cool and soothe the burn site and maintain an optimally moist environment that promotes rapid recovery. A layer of PharmaLEAD Burn Spray is maintained on the injured area until complete healing.
